Dreamlane Decor Warranty Terms

Your Dreamlane Decor Product comes with a five-year warranty. To avail the warranty, please contact customer service immediately if you discover a defect. Any warranty claim must be accompanied by photos of the alleged defect. You can reach the Customer Service on 74111 03515 or email us at support@d-decor.in

Dreamlane Decor warranty covers the following:

  • Defects in materials and workmanship for five years from the date of purchase, if the product is used for domestic and/or commercial use.

The warranty is NOT applicable in the following conditions:

  • The alleged defect is within acceptable industry variances, such as movement of up to 5% in some fabrics.
  • The product has been used other than for its intended purpose.
  • The customer has failed to properly clean, use, and maintain the product.
  • The product has been subject to abnormal conditions, including environment, temperature, water, fire, humidity, pressure, stress, or similar.
  • The defect has arisen due to abuse, misuse, neglect, or accident.
  • The defect has arisen due to chemical damage.
  • Damage or defects caused by normal wear and tear, especially fabric.
  • Damage or defects caused by after treatments or minor variations in color.
  • Damage due to inappropriate usage.
  • If the product is sold by the original customer during the warranty period.

Returns policy:

Returns are not accepted on products once sold. The parts having manufacturing defects during installation will be replaced later. Please contact us to report damaged items upon delivery. We reserve the right to request images or videos of such damage. All claims for damage ascertainable under initial inspection must be reported within two (2) days of receipt of delivery. Thereafter, replacement for any physical damage reported will be invalid.

When you file a complaint about a defect, Dreamlane Decor will examine the case and, at its own discretion, assess whether it is covered by the warranty. We will then decide whether the defect can be rectified or the product is to be replaced. Dreamlane Decor reserves the right to decide which action to take if the claim is covered under warranty and will cover the costs for replacement or repair of the affected part(s). If the product has been discontinued from the collection, Dreamlane Decor will decide upon a suitable replacement product.

If the defect can be rectified, it will be done by Dreamlane Decor or by a Dreamlane Decor-selected partner and with the necessary means. This will correct the defect without a further possibility of price reduction or other compensation.

Handling Tips for Wood Furniture

1Light Sensitivity:

   – Avoid placing objects on wood Furniture surfaces for the first 6-8 weeks to prevent permanent marks.

   – New furniture may take time to match the tone of your existing furniture as it absorbs light.

2Cleaning with Water:

   – Use water sparingly in the form of a damp cloth.

   – Always follow up with a dry cloth after wiping.

3. Liquids:

   – Immediately wipe up spilled liquids as wood and veneer are sensitive to them.

Outdoor Furniture Care:

1. Wood Treatment:

   – Apply outdoor furniture oil to wooden parts before use and 3-4 times a year (6 times in dry weather).

   – Use oil suitable for outdoor furniture and follow product instructions.

2. Cleaning Laminate and Polyethylene Wicker:

   – Clean laminate and polyethylene wicker parts with a damp cloth and a bit of detergent.

   – Avoid abrasive or corrosive cleaning products.

3. Durasint Coating:

   – Durasint provides protection against damage and corrosion, making it ideal for outdoor furniture.

4. Protection from Heat:

   – Avoid placing hot objects directly on table tops.

5. Weather Protection:

   – While outdoor furniture is suitable for outdoor use, consider sheltering or covering it during extended bad weather.

 

 

Upholstery Care:

1. Cushion Maintenance:

   – Rotate seat and back cushions regularly to extend their life and ensure even wear.

   – Regularly shake cushions with foam, feathers, or fiber fill to maintain their shape.

2. Leg Check:

    – Ensure that sofa/chair legs are securely attached and check them regularly.

 

Furniture Fabric Care:

1. Sunlight Protection:

    – Prevent fabric color fading by shielding it from direct sunlight.

2. Cleaning and Protection:

    – Vacuum fabric frequently.

    – Use Dreamlane Decor Product for general cleaning.

    – Apply Dreamlane Decor Product to protect against stains and dirt before use.

Leather Care:

1. Leather Protection:

    – Shield leather from direct sunlight and heat to prevent color fading.

2. Cleaning Leather:

    – Use a dry soft cloth for general cleaning.

    – For deeper cleaning, gently wipe with a cloth dampened in soapy water.

    – When vacuuming, use a soft brush nozzle to avoid scratching.

3. Product Usage:

    – Recommend using Dreamlane Decor Product for cleaning the sofa/chair 2–3 times a year.

    – Apply Dreamlane Decor Product before using your new furniture piece.
